The Hunter

The making of this black walnut desk, I call The Hunter, has been an enjoyable journey. The final preparation of the surfaces has been completed. Above, I soften the outer natural edge of one of the top planks. Below, the block plane softens the straight inner edges of the top.

One final sanity check in the dining room to make sure everything fits. Ahh... I like it when a plan comes together!

The finish is already completed on the stand, now it's time for two coats on the desktop planks.
