24 May 2014 - 1 September 2014 — Dassel, Minnesota
Carol's Finnish ancestry and Craig's recollections of his formative years in Dassel intersect at the Dassel History Center as their fine furniture and textiles come together under one roof in celebration of the local area's Finnish heritage. This event is one of many across the state that are connected to a much larger celebration of Finland, Finnish America and Finnish culture sponsored by FinnFest USA, a nationally based organization. The exhibit will be open through Labor Day.
Please join us for a special opening reception where Carol and Craig will be on hand to talk about their work, Saturday, May 24th, 10am-Noon and 2pm-4pm.
We'll be back again for the final days of the exhibit during the local Red Rooster Day festivities on Saturday, August 30th and Monday, Labor Day, September 1st.
DIRECTIONS: Follow Google Map and then go a little further north to the intersection of 1st and Lake Streets.
