Busy Season

Despite the lack of Studio Note posts, we've been quite busy here. We will be at the 50 Artists on 50th Show on Saturday, April 10, held at the Burroughs School and Community Center in Minneapolis, MN. The booth will have mostly my woven pieces, and Craig will have a couple of his smaller items, too, including his brand new letter box (no photos yet, so you'll have to come and see it in person!). In preparation, I've been weaving lots of new items for spring and summer - towels, scarves and bookmarks in brights as well as pastels. Luscious bamboo and soft organic cotton everywhere.

* Spring scarves, almost finished

I just got the fringes twisted and am wet-finishing the latest run of spring scarves. A final press and some tags, and that's that.

* Turquoise towels, ready for the show

These turquoise towels are now tagged and ready, but I still have a bit of hemming to do on the last batch of purple towels. Then it will just be getting the last minute details of the booth display in order. We are looking forward to the show on Saturday, and hope to see you there!
